Mariela Avila, who runs a make-up blog, has many people seeking her out for make-up tutorials. She decided that the best way to reach more girls was to start a make-up club with her friend Alize Monsivais. The make-up club was born. The club focuses on learning new techniques to apply make-up as well as helping girls feel confident while highlighting their beauty. The girls are learning that beauty starts from the inside and different occasions call for different make-up styles. Club members include Carla Jimenez, Jezabel Garrido, Abigail Escobar, Jocelyn Alvarado, and Rubi Resendiz, and is open to anyone else who may be interested. Make-up Club meets on Tuesdays after school from 3:00-5:00 P.M.
