In our Spanish classes students were learning why it’s important to learn how to do crafts at an early age in Hispanic Countries. Students learned about “El Migajon.” El migajon is the soft part of the bread and throughout Latin America it is used as the base for molding material to create decorations. Latin Americans then sell their creations as a means to earn income and support their families.  Young children learn to work with the material at an early age so as to help support the family. Students had so much fun molding and creating figures as they were learning about other Hispanic cultures.
