The Aldine 9th and High School Choir attended Solo and Ensemble contest and received several awards. The Men’s Tenor Bass and the Women’s Treble Choir both were awarded Superior First Division Awards.
We had 9 Freshmen to also receive individual Superior First Division Awards for their solo performance. They are: Abraham Moreno, Alejandro Fernandez, Amy Garcia, Angel Garza, Ariyana Harris, Desmond Dixon, Hendrix Cantillo, Lincey Sabillon and Richard Gonzalez.
The Choir also had students receive a, 2 Excellent Rating and they are: Angel Cabrera, Danielle Reed, Darvin Hernandez, Jasmine Comeaux, Jennifer Balleza, Jesus Cruz and Nereyda Valedez. At the end of the day the choir won 74 First Division Awards.
One student was named most OUTSTANDING Superior Performance for the day and that was: Angel Garza. Congratulations to him and all the other choir members.
Mr. Morgan and Mr. Leger are very proud of all our choir members that participated in the contest.
