On Wednesday, November 16, 2022, 50 Aldine Ninth Grade students climbed aboard a bus destined for Huntsville, Texas. They were embarking on an adventure at Sam Houston State University. This adventure was their very first, of many, college tours. Our students attended an actual Intro to Geography class where they participated in class discussion and assignment. They also had a question and answer session with current Bearkats with varied majors. Students were given All-You-Can-Eat access to one of the on-campus cafés where they tried everything. This was a memorable trip for our Mustangs and they even received some swag to keep…before they join the Bearkat Family in 3 years.
