Red Ribbon Week is the nation’s oldest and largest drug prevention program. It reaches millions of Americans each year from October 23 to October 31 in thousands of schools, communities, and drug abuse prevention organizations. The Red Ribbon Anti-Drug Campaign is a community’s response to tragedy to honor Special Agent KiKi Camarena’s memory and show dedication to avoiding drug abuse. Join this year’s activities by participating in Aldine ISD’s Red Ribbon Week activities from October 23 through October 27.

Schools across the district will celebrate Red Ribbon Week. However, each school might have various additional ways to celebrate the weeklong event, such as posters, wristbands, and other awareness materials that schools can use to engage students and families in tobacco and vaping prevention.

Students can participate in Spirit Week, social media challenges, and other school-based activities during the weeklong celebration to show their commitment to tobacco and drug-free living.

We will celebrate each day during the week of October 23 with daily themes.
