This fall, Nurse Mutin participated in Texas Children’s Hospital’s “Project ADAM” which helped our school become better prepared to respond to Sudden Cardiac Arrest. In order to qualify as a heart safe school, Nurse Mutin implemented training and drills with staff, as well as complete various tasks that promote a safe environment for students, staff, and all who enter Adine Ninth. The extensive program earned our school the Heart Safe School recognition by Texas Children’s Hospital and awarded Nurse Mutin with a new AED (automated external defibrillator) machine.
